Code of Ethics

We, owners, management, partners and employees of P3 communications, Germany, do hereby commit ourselves to the highest ethical and professional conduct and agree:

  1. to accept responsibility in making engineering decisions always to the best of our knowledge and abilities;
  2. to avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest whenever possible, and to disclose them to affected parties when they do exist;
  3. to be honest and realistic in stating claims or estimates based on available data;
  4. to reject bribery in all its forms;
  5. to maintain and improve our technical competence and to undertake technological tasks for others only if qualified by training or experience, or after full disclosure of pertinent limitations;
  6. to seek, accept, and offer honest criticism of technical work, to acknowledge and correct errors, and to credit properly the contributions of others;
  7. to treat fairly all persons regardless of such factors as race, religion, gender, disability, age, or national origin;
  8. to avoid injuring others, their property, reputation, or employment by false or malicious action;
  9. to assist colleagues and co-workers in their professional development and to support them in following this code of ethics.

This Code of Ethics was set up on March, 3rd, 2001 and is based on the Code of Ethics of the IEEE.

Social Accountability

P3 communications is committed to the international social accountability standard SA8000 and will follow the elements stated therein to whatever reasonable extent. P3 communications solely contracts suppliers satisfying these criteria:

  1. Child Labor: No workers under the age of 15.
  2. Forced Labor: No forced labor, including prison or debt bondage labor; no lodging of deposits or identity papers by employers or outside recruiters.
  3. Health and Safety: Provide a safe and healthy work environment.
  4. Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining: Respect the right to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively.
  5. Discrimination: No discrimination based on race, caste, origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union or political affiliation, or age; no sexual harassment.
  6. Discipline: No corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion or verbal abuse.
  7. Working Hours: Comply with the applicable law.
  8. Compensation: Wages paid for a standard work week meet industry standards.
