Remote Access Test System
RAT is P3 communications ' framework for measurement, analysis and post-processing of 2G and 3G Data Card traffic. The quality of data connections is measured according to end-to-end QoS paramters and covers end user experience of services like websurfing, FTP UL/DL, mobile TV and typical remote office tasks.

The Vodafone Mobile Connect Card (VMCC) RAT was developed exclusively for Vodafone and works in accordance with Vodafone KPI definitions and measurement methodology. VMCC RAT supports most of the current Vodafone connect card models.
Data card traffic is measured in its everyday surroundings – a windows notebook running the RAT client, whether stationary or mobile. For mass and automatic measurements peeqBOX units can be used instead of notebooks.
RATRUNNER
RATRUNNER is P3 communications' semi-attended drive test framework utilising RAT technology for optimal collection of drive test data. Its generic approach allows encapsulation of different measurement tools, use of existing drive test equipment and export of data for post-processing via interface.
