P3 communications Inc. achieves ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation
P3 communications, Inc. announced today that their Field Testing Laboratories are now accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, general criteria for the competency of testing laboratories by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
ISO/IEC accreditation demonstrates that P3 has successfully completed the ISO/IEC evaluation process, including an assessment of the laboratory’s compliance with the A2LA Electrical Program Requirements.
This international standard evaluates a laboratory’s commitment to quality. P3 communications achieved this accreditation by demonstrating technical competence and the operation and effectiveness of its laboratory.
ISO/IEC 17025 not only considers management and technical expertise, but also emphasizes continual service and process improvement.

In recognition of the successful completion of the A2LA evaluation process, accreditation is granted to this laboratory to perform the following wireless tests on LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA and EVDO wireless devices:
- GSMA TS11: Device Field and Lab Test Guidelines
- VZW Compliance Test Plan: Global Field Interoperability Testing (GFIT)
- VZW Compliance Test Plan: Domestic Field Interoperability Testing (FIT)
