The P3 Business Case Calculator is an industrially deployable calculation template. It enables a practical, structured and user-friendly assessment of profitability. In the user case of an RFID rollout, additional financial criteria of the RFID life cycle were inquired, analyzed and prepared.

The model uses comprehensive experience and findings in the analysis and integration of RFID applications. It has also been validated within the P3 partner network with market-leading technology leaders and users. With its variable adaptation options for value creation chains, the Business Case Calculator has also been tried and tested in relation to aircraft IT infrastructures and in smart metering within the energy sector.
