It’s true - the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology does indeed promise greater transparency, a high degree of automation and low error susceptibility when documenting and controlling process performance indicators.

There are an almost unlimited number of possible applications throughout the product lifecycle extending right across the development, production, logistics, and service and disposal phases. But herein also lies the problem. A great deal is technically feasible, but is it actually economically viable? Can the identified process deficits be eliminated within that very process? Is the applications strategy clear and coordinated?
P3 will identify the solution that is right for you. Based on an analysis of a given process, we evaluate the options of whether to realise process optimisation technically or by working on the process itself.

It frequently seems right to search for a technical solution, but the process analysis will frequently show that an optimisation can be implemented by completely different means. In that case an RFID application would be much too expensive. On the other hand, investments in RFID amortise very quickly when applied properly. Particularly because experience shows that the transparency gained leads to further reliably obtained recommendations for optimising the process.
