What is special about the corporate culture of P3?
“For a start, we don’t foster a senior level here. Everyone can work hard for his position and is paid according to his performance. Authority follows good arguments. We give our developers and consultants great freedom for their own decisions. Thus a feeling for responsibility and motivation grow. Our mature mentor program helps new employees with the first steps.
The P3 Ingenieurgesellschaft is a spin-off of Aachen’s Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT). To what extent is there still a dialogue with the science today?
„We are still working closely with the IPT. For example we are regularly placing orders with the institute or realize studies together. Other network partners are the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering as well as the Chair of Communication Networks at Aachen’s university, RWTH. The exchange is very important to us. Hence we also offer diploma projects in-house and recruit student assistants and graduates at the universities.
