In factory planning, which is also characterized by cost and time pressure, it is important to pursue a clearly defined target picture in order to be able to make quick, sustainable decisions. Here, the specific challenges are manifold. Whether in the best possible integration of new products into an existing plant, taking into account ongoing production processes, or in the greenfield approach involving the global production network. Our goal is to enable a successful planning process with optimal results.
Holistic factory planning
We rely on holistic factory planning to help our customers strategically define their factory structure. In planning workshops, we work closely with our customers to understand and specify their requirements and goals. In doing so, we take into account, for example, optional greenfield and brownfield approaches and conduct a thorough needs analysis and requirements management to optimally plan capacities, space, equipment and buildings. From this we derive the combinatorics of different implementation variants, which we evaluate on the basis of cross-functional criteria and elaborate into a recommendation for action. We present the results in block layouts, process flows and initial 3D mock-ups of the first hall designs. Once the final concept has been approved, we take over implementation planning and industrialization management.
