What you'll do


  • Lead the architecture and design of Android Automotive solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and hardware teams to define software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with vehicle hardware and cloud-based services.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Optimize performance and power consumption of Android-based in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Android Automotive, automotive cybersecurity, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other stakeholders to define and implement robust solutions.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Android development and system architecture.
  • Proven experience working with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
  • Strong understanding of Android Framework, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), and AOSP (Android Open Source Project).
  • Experience in designing and implementing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) solutions for automotive applications.
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C++, and embedded development.
  • Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, and other automotive communication protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Android build systems, BSP (Board Support Package), and middleware integration.
  • Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud connectivity, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in automotive systems.
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity challenges in the automotive domain.
