What you'll do
- Desing and build advanced applications for the AAOS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (Java/Kotlin; C++ is a big plus)
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Debug and optimize application performance for automotive-grade requirements
- Explore and implement new technologies and tools to boost development efficiency
- Contribute to system architecture and have an active say in long-term tech strategy
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Who you are
- You have a degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field
- You have an experience in developing Android applications, with deep AAOS knowledge
- You have hands-on experience with: Android Automotive OS architecture, System services, HALs, Soong build system, and SDK extensions, Android development tools and CI/CD workflows (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.), Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)
- You have a strong grasp of Android app architecture and object-oriented design methodologies
- You have an experience with unit and UI testing in production environments
- You have a problem-solving mindset with a keen analytical approach
- You are fluent in English (written & spoken)
