What you'll do
- Design, implement, and administer all technical and security aspects of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID / Azure Active Directory)
- Own identity and access management, including Conditional Access, SSO, Microsoft Identities, and governance
- Design and maintain security policies across M365 using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Information Protection / Purview
- Continuously perform service improvements and align with recognized IT security standards and best practices
- Use automation extensively (PowerShell, Azure Bicep, Terraform) to deploy, configure, manage, and monitor systems
- Support CI/CD initiatives and infrastructure-as-code practices across cloud environments
- Stay abreast of M365 roadmap changes, standards, and best practices, act as the go-to expert within the team
- Mentor and share knowledge with other team members; support their development through guidance and feedback
- Document all M365 implementations and participate in change requests as needed
- Develop and implement M365 strategies
Who you are
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical knowledge
- 5+ years in IT environments, with 4+ years focused on Microsoft 365 / Azure
- Deep knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, identity governance, SSO
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager (MDM/MAM, Autopilot)
- Advanced knowledge of on-premises Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security: Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Information Protection
- Proficiency in PowerShell; Bash scripting is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Azure Bicep)
- Understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads is a plus
- Advanced Linux/Unix administration knowledge is a plus
