General Learning Objectives
Our SAFe® Agile Software Engineering training provides you and your team with the knowledge and practical skills to design a technical infrastructure that is geared towards comprehensive testing. You will learn how to plan, design and implement stories in a continuous delivery pipeline, react flexibly to dynamic environments and perform automated tests. You will also gain insights into modern practices such as XP, BDD and TDD. Finally, you will develop a fundamental understanding of the principles of Lean, Agile and DevOps, which you can apply effectively in your daily work.
Main Focus
- Application of the test-first principle to harmonise tests and requirements
- Modelling, design, implementation, verification and validation of user stories
- Practices to improve the quality of code and design (e.g. abstraction, encapsulation, SOLID)
- Use of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) for a common understanding
- Understanding of basic Lean, Agile and DevOps principles and practices
- Use of test infrastructure for automated tests
- Ensuring build-in-quality within the CI/CD pipeline
Target Group
Regardless of your experience, you are welcome to participate in this course. Some basic knowledge of scaled agility & Scrum is desirable, but not a prerequisite for participation.
