In SAFe®, architects, together with product managers and release train engineers, play a key role in the management team. Together they manage the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to enable a continuous value stream. To help you succeed in your role, our SAFe® for Architects training will show you how to collaborate effectively in a team, integrate agile principles into architecture work and adapt flexibly to changes in requirements. The training promotes your professional development, increases the quality of your software development, shortens time-to-market and enables you to act as a change agent throughout the organisation. General Learning Objectives
In this SAFe® for Architects training you will deepen your understanding of the underlying agile principles and practices and learn skills to succeed in a SAFe environment and optimise flow in organisations. The learning objectives of this training include familiarising yourself with the role and responsibilities of a SAFe® Architect. You will also learn to skilfully align architecture with business value while promoting the smooth flow of a complex System of Systems – while promoting the implementation of SAFe® within an ART.
Main Focus
- Development and communication of the architectural vision
- Definition of a solution intent and creation of roadmaps
- Continuous delivery of functioning software
- Preparation for the Planning Interval (PI)
- Coaching architects and other team members in the PI
- Planning the architectural runway
- Creating visibility for the ART’s architectural vision

Regardless of your experience, you are welcome to participate in this course. Some basic knowledge of Scaled Agility or Scrum is desirable, but not a prerequisite for participation.

The additionally issued digital badge for use in social networks or your e-mail signature emphasises your acquired competence.
